Corresponde a la División de Telefonía y Telegrafía, la programación, dirección y control de las normas técnicas fundamentales para la operación e integración de estos servicios, las relaciones internacionales con los organismos especializados; y en general, la supervigilancia de adelantamiento de la política del país en materia de desarrollo telefónico y telegráfico, de conformidad con la orientación trazada por el Ministro y las necesidades nacionales.
