En las Penitenciarías, en el lugar destinado a las visitas, se hará un arreglo especial, mediante el cual el condenado quede separado del visitante por una reja de alambre que no permita el paso de objetos entre visitantes y visitados. Con todo, la autoridad que concede el permiso para la visita puede disponer que ésta se verifique en un lugar diferente, dentro del mismo establecimiento, siempre que se observen los demás .requisitos sobre el particular. Los condenados enfermos pueden recibir las visitas en la enfermería.
