La Superintendencia de Notariado y Registro ejercerá la orientación, inspección, vigilancia y control de los servicios públicos que prestan los Notarios y los Registradores de Instrumentos Públicos; atenderá la organización, administración y sostenimiento de las Oficinas de Registro de Instrumentos Públicos, asesorará al Gobierno Nacional en la construcción de las políticas y el establecimiento de los programas y planes referidos a los servicios públicos notarial y registral.
