º. Sin perjuicio de lo dispuesto en el artículo 8 del Decreto legislativo 4051 de 1949, con la parte disponible de sus depósitos, las Secciones y Cajas de Ahorros podrán conceder préstamos hasta con 5 años de plazo, con destino exclusivo a obras de fomento económico, en los términos y condiciones señalados para esta clase de operaciones por el artículo 4º del Decreto legislativo 384 de 1950.
