Decreto 2035 de 1991 · por el cual se establece la estructura Interna del Ministerio de Gobierno, se determinan sus funciones y se dictan unas disposiciones complementarias al efecto.

Corresponde a la Secretaría General además de las funciones previstas en el artículo 14 del decreto 1050 de 1968, las siguientes

Coordinar las labores administrativas de las distintas direcciones generales y Dirección Nacional del Ministerio;

Presidir los comités y comisiones creados para el adecuado funcionamiento interno del Ministerio;

Velar por el funcionamiento del Fondo de Desarrollo Comunal y preparar para la firma del Ministro los documentos relacionados con la administración del mismo;

Orientar de acuerdo con el Ministro, las labores y acciones de las distintas dependencias a su cargo. Subdirección General Administrativa
