El Gerente de la Caja será nombrado por la Junta Directiva, seleccionado entre el personal de Oficiales Generales de Insignia de la Armada, u Oficiales Superiores de las Fuerzas Militares, en actividad, o en uso de buen retiro. El periodo de sus funciones será de dos (2) años y podrá ser reelegido indefinidamente. La Junta Directiva podrá remover al Gerente dentro de su periodo n los siguiente casos, a juicio de la Junta. 1º. Deficiencia en el cumplimiento de sus funciones; 2º. Mala conducta; 3º. Por enfermedad; 4º. Por renuncia
