El Hospital Sede Además De Las Funciones Que Le Sean Asignadas Por El Ministerio De Salud Pública Tendrá Las Siguientes: A) Prestar Servicios De Salud A La Población De Su Área, De Acuerdo A Su Disponibilidad De Tecnología: B) Servir De Centro De Referencia En Los Aspectos De Salud Para Todos Los Organismos, Instituciones Y Agencias De Su Área De Influencia: C) Llevar A Cabo Programas Docentes, Educación Continuada Y Adiestramiento En Servicio Para El Personal De Su Área De Influencia
