A partir del 1º de enero de 2001 el Presidente del Banco del Estado, el Gerente del Instituto de Fomento Industrial, IFI, el Presidente de la Previsora Compañía de Seguros, el Director del Fondo de Garantías de Entidades Cooperativas, Fogacoop, el Director del Fondo Nacional de Ahorro, FNA, y el Presidente de la Empresa Colombiana de Recursos para la Salud, Ecosalud, tendrán un sueldo básico mensual de siete millones cuatrocientos tres mil seiscientos cincuenta y cuatro pesos ($7.403.654) moneda corriente. El Director del Fondo de Garantías de Entidades Cooperativas, Fogacoop, tendrá derecho a las prestaciones y factores de salario de los empleados públicos de la Rama Ejecutiva del Poder Público del nivel nacional.
