Bajo la denominación "Junta de Acción Comunal de Vivienda Comunitaria" o de las letras "J.A.C.V.C.", seguida de los demás elementos constitutivos del nombre, el Ministerio de Gobierno podrá reconocer personería jurídica a las asociaciones sin ánimo de lucro integradas por familias, que se reúnan con el propósito de adelantar programas de mejoramiento o de autoconstrucción de vivienda. Una vez concluido el programa, se asimilarán a la Junta de Acción Comunal definida por el artículo 1º del Decreto 1930 de 1979.
