El demandado que tenga derecho para denunciar el pleito, ya para los fines del saneamiento por evicción, ya para que otros respondan de una calidad como la de heredero, según las leyes sustantivas, debe hacerlo antes de que expire el término para la contestación de la demanda; y si para el adelantamiento del juicio no se le diere traslado, dentro de los tres días siguientes a la de la primera notificación.
