Art. 39.º Todo reconocimiento ó declaratoria de acción distinguida de valor implicará para el agraciado, además de la recompensa á que tiene derecho la concesión de parte del Gobierno de la Nación de una medalla ó escudo de honor, con su correspondiente titulo, de manera que al llevar dicha medalla ó escudo el favorecido, sobre su uniforme, sirva eso de poderoso estimulo, y puedan sus conciudadanos reconocer en el premiado un militar digno y valeroso que sabe honrar su profesión.
