ART.1. º El pié de fuerza pública al servicio del Gobierno de la Union para el próximo año económico. En tiempo de paz, de 2.072 hombre de tropa con los correspondientes Jefes i oficiales, según el decreto orgánico del Ejército de 2 de diciembre de 1862.

Parágrafo

El Poder Ejecutivo queda autorizado para situar esta fuerza en los puntos donde lo crea mas conveniente, organizándola en columnas o lejiones segun las disposiciones vijentes.
