Al finalizar cada mes, o siempre que el Fondo Rotatorio lo requiera, el Consulado General de Nueva York solicitará del Ministerio de Obras Públicas la provisión de nuevos fondos, de manera que pueda disponer siempre de sumas suficientes para atender los pagos que se le ordenen. Para el efecto, el Consulado dará cuenta, por escrito y por vía aérea, a la Dirección de Bienes y Comercio, del estado del Fondo y su movimiento, a partir del último aviso.
