ARTICULO 117 . RELACION DE COORDINACION CON EL MINISTERIO DE TRANSPORTE.- La Dirección General Marítima, además de su relación de dependencia con el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional, estará sujeta a una relación de coordinación con el Ministerio de Transporte. De este modo, y de conformidad con lo establecido en el artículo 4o. del Decreto Ley 2324 de 1984, será la entidad encargada de proponer al Ministerio de Transporte, para su estudio y aprobación, las políticas, planes y programas en materia de transporte marítimo, así como ejecutar y controlar el cumplimiento de las mismas.
