Con fondos nacionales se hará construir y colocar un busto en honor del extinto en la ciudad de Manizales, en el lugar que el Concejo Municipal de aquella población lo determine, con esta inscripción:

EL CONGRESO DE COLOMBIA AL SEÑOR GENERAL DON MARCELINO ARANGO.
