El acusado dispondrá de un término común de ocho (8) días para presentar sus descargos y para solicitar y aportar pruebas, durante el cual el expediente permanecerá a su disposición en secretaría. Vencido dicho término, el investigador tendrá veinte (20) días para diligenciar las pruebas solicitadas por el acusado que estimare procedente y las demás que considere necesario practicar para el mejor esclarecimiento de los hechos.
