Las empresas a que se refiere esta Ley mantendrán un depósito en poder de la Superintendencia Bancaria, en calidad de prenda y como garantía del cumplimiento de las disposiciones establecidas en esta misma Ley. Dicha garantía consistirá en bonos o títulos de deuda pública estimados por su valor comercial, los cuales se depositarán a nombre del Superintendente Bancario en el Banco de la República. El monto de dicha garantía será de sesenta mil pesos ($ 60.000).
