Artículo quinto. El Ministerio del Trabajo, previa presentación de los comprobantes respectivos, fijará la cuantía de la caución de deben otorgar ante el Ministerio, para efectos de garantizar su funcionamiento de conformidad con lo dispuesto en el Decreto ley 2318 de 1953, teniendo en cuenta la tarifa siguiente

Para ciudades y poblaciones inferiores a 20.000 habitantes, $ 2.000.00;

Para ciudades y poblaciones de más de 20.000 y menos de 40.000 habitantes, $ 4.000.00;

Para ciudades y poblaciones de más de 40.000 y menos de 80.000 habitantes, $ 5.000.00;

Para ciudades y poblaciones de más de 80.000 y menos de 160.000 habitantes, $ 8.000.00;

Para ciudades y poblaciones de 160.000 en adelante, $ 10.000.00.
