ART 246. Desde que se fije el primer edicto de que trata el artículo 126 de la ley 57 de 1887 , se publicará copia de él en el periódico oficial del Departamento, por tres veces cuando menos, y si á pesar de este llamamiento no comparecieren los demandados, transcurridos treinta días, se les nombrará por el Juez un defensor, con quien se seguirá el juicio.
