El Gobierno, por intermedio de la academia Nacional de Historia, organizara y llevara a cabo, durante el año de 1941, los actos conducentes a la solemne conmemoración de este descubrimiento. Tanto el Gobierno como el Congreso se harán representar en los actos que con este mismo fin realicen las Repúblicas vecinas.
