Si se crearen puestos en el Servicio Territorial para ser desempeñados por Oficiales inferiores, se tomara en cuenta, para proveerlos, a los Suboficiales de reserva que hayan sido retirados con el grado de Subtenientes. En este caso dichos Oficiales no podrán ascender sino hasta el grado de Capitán de Reserva, mediante los mismos requisitos exigidos para el ascenso a todos los Oficiales de actividad.
