En cada Seccional de Instrucción Criminal funcionará un Consejo Seccional de Policía Judicial integrado por: el Presidente de la Sala Penal del Tribunal respectivo; por el Procurador Regional o Jefe Seccional; por el Secretorio de Gobierno del Departamento; por el Director Seccional del DAS y por el Comandante de Policía. En las seccionales que comprenden varios distritos judiciales o departamentos, harán también parte del Consejo los homólogos de los funcionarios citados.
