En cumplimiento del literal a) del artículo 7º de la Ley 157 de 1994, la Comisión Profesional Colombiana de Diseño Industrial, será presidida por el Ministro de Desarrollo Económico o su delegado. La Comisión elegirá de su seno, para un período de un (1) año un Secretario Ejecutivo por mayoría de votos de sus miembros. La Comisión sesionará en forma ordinaria una vez cada cuatro (4) meses, previa convocatoria del Presidente de la Comisión. En forma extraordinaria sesionará cuando lo decida la mitad más uno de sus miembros.
