El subsidio familiar disminuye por los siguientes hechos: 1°. Por muerte de la esposa si no hubiere hijos. 2°. Por los hijos: Para varones 1°. Por muerte 2°. Por emancipación voluntaria. 3°. Por matrimonio. 4°. Por haber cumplido la edad de veintiún (21) años, salvo el caso de estudiantes que dependan económicamente del empleado, y de hijos inválidos. 5°. Por haber conseguido la independencia económica antes de cumplir los veintiún (21) años. b) Para las mujeres 1°. Por muerte 2°. Por matrimonio 3°. Por profesión religiosa.
