El que sin permiso de autoridad competente o con incumplimiento de la normatividad existente, realice experimentos con especies, agentes biológicos o bioquímicos que constituyan, generen o pongan en peligro la supervivencia de las especies de la biodiversidad colombiana, incurrirá en prisión de sesenta (60) a ciento cuarenta y cuatro (144) meses y multa de ciento treinta y cuatro (134) a cincuenta mil (50.000) salarios mínimos legales mensuales vigentes.
