El patrono o la empresa podrá expedir el certificado por duplicado y exigir del empleado u obrero que firme el ejemplar que ha de reposar en sus archivos. Si el interesado se niega a firmar el ejemplar del certificado, se hará constar esta circunstancia en dicho ejemplar ante dos testigos. Igualmente se procederá, en esta forma cuando el empleado u obrero se niegue a recibir el certificado.
