Para la expedición del permiso especial de tránsito fronterizo es necesario que el solicitante presente los siguientes documentos: prueba de vecindad, pasaporte u otro documento que acredite plenamente la identidad del interesado. El Ministerio de Relaciones Exteriores reglamentará la expedición de este permiso.
