El presente decreto tiene por objeto crear la Comisión Intersectorial de Seguridad Alimentaria y Nutricional -CISAN- la cual tendrá a su cargo la coordinación y seguimiento de la Política Nacional de Seguridad Alimentaria y Nutricional -PNSAN-, siendo instancia de concertación entre los diferentes sectores involucrados en el desarrollo de la misma.
