Son funciones de la División de Operaciones:

1. Promover entre las instituciones públicas, privadas y con las comunidades rurales, urbanas y población en general la divulgación de los principios, normas y organización de las sociedades cooperativas.

2. Prestar asesoría técnica a los organismos cooperativos de segundo y tercer grado de carácter especializado y a las instituciones auxiliares del cooperativismo.

3. Supervisar y evaluar permanentemente los programas y actividades de las federaciones, uniones, centrales y ligas cooperativas y por los organismos auxiliares del cooperativismo.

4. Las demás que se le asignen por el Jefe del Departamento.
