Sólo podrán obtener matrícula profesional del Colegio Nacional de la Profesión de Ecología:

Quienes hayan obtenido el título de profesional de Ecólogo en una Institución de Educación Superior oficialmente reconocida por el Estado Colombiano, cuyo programa educativo y base académica estén aprobados por el Ministerio de Educación;

Quienes hayan obtenido o tengan el título de profesional de Ecólogo en el extranjero, que para su validez se regirá, por la reglamentación dada por el Ministerio de Educación Nacional.
