Comprobación de grados. Para la comprobación de todo grado en la jerarquía de Oficiales, el Ministerio de Defensa Nacional expedirá el respectivo despacho, expresando la antigüedad en el grado que corresponda al interesado, la cual será señalada en el decreto correspondiente. La Dirección General de la Policía procederá en la misma forma respecto a los Suboficiales.
