Art. 6.° El territorio de cada Departamento se divide en Provincias de instrucción pública y en Municipios. Las demarcaciones territoriales de éstos y de aquéllas serán las que tienen en la actualidad, mientras la Ley ó el Gobierno no dispongan otra cosa de acuerdo con el artículo 7o de la Constitución.
