Cuando los militares intervengan en la disolución de motines, ajustarán sus procedimientos a los reglamentos respectivos. En lo posible se abstendrán de hacer uso de las armas, a menos que se trate de defenderse o defender a otros de una violencia actual e injusta contra su persona o sus bienes, o cuando no haya modo diferente de restablecer la seguridad pública.
