Art. 1. Los Municipios del Líbano, Villahermosa, Marulanda, Santa Ana, Fresno, Manzanare, Casabianca, Soledad y Victoria continuaran formando la nueva Provincia de Herveo, en el Departamento del Tolima, creada por Decreto legislativo número 817, de8 de Mayo de 1902, teniendo por cabecera al Municipio del Fresno. De consiguiente la Provincia del Norte del mismo Departamento queda constituida por los Municipios siguientes: Ibagué, Piedras, Caldas, Venadillo, Ambalema, Lérida, San Loreno, Mariquita y Honda, continuando Ambalema como cabecera de esta Provincia.
