ARTICULO 172 . Prórroga . Los términos legales o judiciales no pueden ser prorrogados sino a petición de los sujetos procesales, hecha antes de su vencimiento, por causa grave y justificada. El funcionario judicial podrá conceder por una sola vez la prórroga. En ningún caso puede exceder en otro tanto el término ordinario.
