Art. 5.° Las enseñanzas de la Escuela de Ingeniería civil se distribuyen en tres años de estudios, asi : PRIMER AÑO. Elementos de Química y Geología, Maquinaria y materiales de construcción. SEGUNDO AÑO. Arte de construir, Hidráulica y Física industrial, que comprende la ventilación, calormetría y máquinas de vapor. TERCER AÑO. Trigonometría esférica, Elementos de Astronomía y Geodesia, Arquitectura civil, Puentes, Caminos y Canales.
