La providencia que otorgue la libertad condicional impondrá las prescripciones que establecen los artículos 86 y 90 del Código Penal y será comunicada a las entidades a quienes se comunicó la sentencia condenatoria, a las autoridades judiciales y de policía donde se establezca el que va a gozar de la libertad condicional, y al Consejo de Patronato, si allí funcionare.
