º. Los ex Ministros de Estado continuarán dis frutando del servicio de seguridad en l a residencia y, si fuere el caso, de una escolta adecuadamente equipada suministrada por la Policía Nacional, hasta por el término de seis (6) meses prorrogables; a partir de la fecha de separación del cargo. En casos especiales, estos servicios podrán prolongarse por el tiempo que sea necesario, a juicio del Ministro de Defensa.
