Las entidades financieras en las cuales la Nación, o el Fondo de Garantías de Instituciones Financieras, Fogafin, participen en su capital, en desarrollo de los artículos 313 y 320 del Estatuto Orgánico del Sistema Financiero, respectivamente, y por ello se transformen en sociedades de economía mixta, de conformidad con el artículo 97 de la Ley 489 de 1998, quedarán vinculadas al Ministerio de Hacienda y Crédito Público.
