Cuando el Instrumento es pagado por una parte secundariamente obligada a ello, no se entiende descargado, y la parte que paga conserva sus derechos sobre las partes anteriores, pudiendo borrar su endoso y los subsiguientes y negociar de nuevo el instrumento, a menos que éste sea pagadero a la orden de una tercera persona y haya sido cubierto por el girador, y cuando haya sido expedido o aceptado por acomodamiento y se haya cubierto por la parte dada.
