Verificación de Atmósfera. Una vez realizada la voladura y antes de regresar al frente, se debe confirmar que los gases estén dentro de los valores límites permisibles, previo monitoreo y control; además, es necesario garantizar la estabilización del terreno. El operador de explosivos es quien debe entrar primero para hacer las revisiones del caso, no antes de quince minutos (15 min) de realizada la voladura.
