Art. 2.° El retrato de este distinguido ciudadano, costeado por el Tesoro público, será conservado en el Museo nacional, con esta inscripción:

"alejandro próspero révérend,

Médico de cabecera del Libertador en 1830.

Ley 3.° de 1884."

Un ejemplar de la presente ley se enviará al Gobierno del Estado Soberano del Magdalena para que éste lo ponga en manos de la familia del finado doctor Révérend.
