Por mercaderías se entenderá, para los efectos de esta Sección, los bienes, objetos y artículos de cualquier clase, con excepción de los animales vivos y del cargamento que, según el contrato de transporte, se declare colocado sobre cubierta y sea efectivamente transportado así.
