Además de lo previsto en el articulo anterior, son también funciones de la Caja, adelantar todas las actividades relacionadas con la promoción del sistema, su coordinación operativa, asesorías a las entidades vinculadas y establecimientos afiliados y establecer, además, los mecanismos técnicos y operativos necesarios que garanticen a las personas integrantes del sistema, suficientes condiciones de seguridad de las operaciones realizadas a través de la tarjeta.
