Duración. La disponibilidad tendrá una duración máxima de dos años, transcurridos los cuales el funcionario deberá reintegrarse al servicio. Si no lo hiciere en ese lapso, quedará automáticamente retirado de la Carrera Diplomática y Consular y del servicio.
