Art. 7° Cuando lo estime oportuno podrá el Tesorero general abrir en la Oficina Central á particulares el servicio de depósitos á la orden y de cuentas corrientes, éstas últimas con el interés del 8 por 100 anual sobre el saldo mínimo. Las consignaciones en estos casos deben hacerse en billetes de los tipos premiados en el comercio, y los giros se harán por medio de cheques de cambio. Serán admitidos en estas consignaciones billetes deteriorados, los cuales, al cubrirse los respectivos giros y devolver los depósitos, serán repuestos con otros de buena calidad.
