A la muerte de un Alférez o Cadete de la Escuela de Policía "General Santander" en actividades relacionadas con su preparación profesional o del servicio, sus beneficiarios en el orden determinado por este Decreto, tendrán derecho a que el Tesoro Público les pague una Indemnización igual a doce (12) meses del sueldo básico de un Sub-teniente.
