A partir de la vigencia del presente Decreto, las maquinarias y equipos que se importen al país con destino al montaje de nuevas industrias, a la modernización y ensanche de las existentes, mediante crédito externo y cuyo valor sea amortizable en un plazo total no inferior a cuatro años, y en cuotas proporcionales a partir de los seis (6) meses siguientes a la fecha en que sea utilizada la respectiva licencia de importación, tendrán derecho a recibir divisas de un tipo oficial y causarán un impuesto de timbre del 40%
