º De conformidad con el artículo 12 del Decreto 2119 de 1992, la Comisión Nacional de Energía se convierte en la Unidad de Planeación Minero Energética del Ministerio de Minas y Energía y se organiza como Unidad Administrativa Especial sujeta a la disposiciones pertinentes consagradas en el Decreto-ley 1050 de 1968 y en el Decreto 2119 de 1992, a las normas que los modifiquen o adicionen, y a las señaladas en el presente Decreto. Su objeto es el de realizar la planeación integral del sector minero energético.
