La elección de Magistrados principales y suplentes corresponde a las Cámaras Legislativas, de ternas presentadas por el Presidente de la República, conforme a las disposiciones constitucionales.

Cada Cámara debe elegir seis principales y seis suplentes.

Los interinos son nombrados de acuerdo con el Acto legislativo número 3 de 1910.
